The vía ferrata Cala de Molí is in the wilderness of Costa Brava in the municipality of Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Girona). This is on of the most well-known routes in Cataluña and it has a large influx of people since it’s the only route uniquely built on the sea with spectacular views from the cliffs.

It consists of two parts. The first part is a beginners level and sufficient for people without experience to give it a try and become familiar with the techniques of how to progress and advance in this type of route. It has an aerial bridge where we change from one rock face to another. At the end of this first route there is a path to get off in case the weather is bad or you aren’t comfortable.

The second part is mid-level  and although it’s not super difficult, it does take more effort than the first part and it’s important that you feel comfortable changing and handling the carabiners. After this part the only thing left to do is to enjoy the view. The entire tour is really incredible and the views at any given moment of the sea make for such a special day.

The minimum height of the vía is 5 meters and the maximum is 20 meters.

After doing the vía we can swim at the beach in Sant Feliu de Guíxols
